Sam Animation

Sam Animation is by far the most fascinating and fun piece of technology I have been introduced to thus far. I would use this for any big projects in my classroom. I think it is a perfect way to introduce a concept (animation made by you) or assess student's understanding of lesson.

I certainly understand the usefulness of technology, as I love to use it myself. However, as forward thinking as I might like to be, I do not necessarily agree with all of James Gee's article. I would not want my young son exposed to some of the violent games that exist. I recognize there may be some lesson learned for some, but I am not for violent video games regardless the gender. However, I could not agree more with this statement "human learning is not just a matter of what goes on inside people's heads but if fully embedded in (situated within) a material, social, and cultural world" (Gee) part of this is our growing technologically savy culture.
