What a fun and exciting day it was for me! I am finding more and more that technology is where it is at. I love the hands on activities and how it keeps me excited and engaged. The presentation our group had to do regarding technology forced me to play with a piece of technology that I would not normally use. I ended up using my digital camera, head set, and good ol' PowerPoint to enhance and engage my students that might need more practice with reading. By the time I had finished putting this together, I found myself thinking of many ways I could have my students create their very own books "on tape" to have in the listening center.
This of course is not all I got from our session. The many different sites and web resources we got from this particular class session will be extremely beneficial to me in the future as well as my students. I can see this truly benefiting my ELL students as they get the opportunity to "hear, see, and have hands-on experiences" through technology. This can really create a great collaborative work effort among a group of peers as well. I LOVE TECHNOLOGY!
